A Fitter reads and interprets technical drawings and blueprints to assemble machinery and mechanical components accurately. They install pipes, structures, and equipment according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Fitters use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit metal parts.

They perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical issues when problems arise. Fitters may also be involved in welding, drilling, grinding, and fabricating parts as required. Following workplace safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment are essential parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
