INCHARGE/ENGINEER SHIFT E&I FOR STEEL PIPES MANUFACTURING - KUTHREL , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Shift Engineer / Shift Incharge to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the Power Plant’s electrical and instrumentation systems. The candidate will manage shift activities, monitor plant performance, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and coordinate maintenance activities for optimal plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of electrical and instrumentation systems during the shift.

• Monitor and control plant operations, including generation, distribution, and system performance.

• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Maintain accurate operational logs, reports, and shift handovers.

• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

• Train and guide junior staff and operators on plant procedures and safety norms.

• Respond promptly to emergencies or abnormal plant conditions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in shift supervision.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.

• Familiarity with SCADA/DCS systems and power plant instrumentation.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
