ACCOUNTANT ENTRY FIX & REGISTER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - JHARKHAND

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant responsible for entry corrections and register management. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial records, identify discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date accounting registers in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and correct accounting entries in the general ledger

• Identify and fix posting errors, duplicate entries, and misclassifications

• Maintain and reconcile financial registers and subsidiary ledgers

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely

• Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

• Generate financial reports and assist in audit preparation

• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies

• Maintain proper documentation of corrections and adjustments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, etc.)

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems

• Knowledge of financial reporting standards

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
