Job Description:
A Night Supervisor oversees operations, staff, and security during non-business hours (typically night shifts), ensuring productivity and compliance with safety standards. Key duties include directing personnel, resolving issues, managing inventory or front desk functions, and reporting to upper management. They are responsible for maintaining a secure and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Supervising, training, and scheduling night shift staff.
- Safety & Security: Implementing safety standards, conducting inspections, and securing the premises.
- Problem Solving: Handling emergency situations and addressing customer/guest issues.
- Reporting & Documentation: Preparing nightly operational reports, shift logs, and inventory checks.
- Process Improvement: Implementing preventive measures and ensuring adherence to company procedures.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Generally 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., hospitality, retail, or manufacturing).
- Leadership: Strong team-building, coaching, and communication skills.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously and make rapid decisions.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of industry-specific software (e.g., hotel management systems).
- Flexibility: Availability to work varying night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
