DRIVER FOR SCHOOL - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

The School Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities, ensuring a secure, punctual, and comfortable journey while following all traffic laws and school policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other school activities

• Follow assigned routes and schedules

• Ensure students board and exit the vehicle safely

• Maintain order and discipline on the vehicle

• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections before and after trips

• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly

• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and school policies

• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for school vehicle)

• Clean driving record

• Previous driving experience preferred

• Knowledge of traffic laws and road safety practices

• Ability to manage and supervise children responsibly

• Physically fit and able to assist students when needed

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Background check and medical clearance (as required)

Working Conditions

• Morning and afternoon shifts, with possible additional hours for school events

• Driving in various weather conditions

• Responsibility for student safety at all times
