CHEMIST TRAINEE FOR STEEL INDUSTRY - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

A Chemist Trainee assists senior chemists with lab tasks like preparing solutions, conducting experiments, analyzing samples, and maintaining equipment, focusing on learning protocols, safety, and documentation for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, requiring a B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry and strong analytical skills for quality control or R&D roles. 

• Laboratory Assistance: Perform tests, experiments, and chemical analyses under supervision, following SOPs.
• Sample & Reagent Prep: Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for analysis.
• Data Management: Accurately record, document, and interpret experimental data in notebooks or electronic systems.
• Equipment Handling: Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on raw materials, packaging, and final products.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all lab safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
• Research Support: Assist senior chemists in research projects, product development, and stability studies. 

• Education: Bachelor's (B.Sc) or Master's (M.Sc) degree in Chemistry or a related science field.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of lab practices, analytical techniques (like chromatography/spectroscopy), and safety protocols.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Attributes: Eagerness to learn, ability to follow instructions, and flexibility to work under pressure.
