2ND CLASS BOILER OPERATOR FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Operations & Control: Operate, monitor, and control industrial boilers (including Fluidized Bed Combustion/FBC boilers) and auxiliaries (pumps, fans, water treatment) using DCS or manual controls to maintain steam, fuel, and air ratios.
- Maintenance & Inspection: Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting of boiler systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, perform, and oversee boiler blowdown and water quality analysis.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of operational parameters (pressures, temperatures, fuel levels).
- Maintenance Support: Assist in handing over equipment for shutdown and inspection.
- Qualification: Valid 2nd Class Boiler Operator Certificate.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience, preferably in a steel plant, captive power plant, or industrial setting.
- Skills: Proficiency with boiler controls (DCS/PLC) and troubleshooting technical problems.
- Requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting.
- The work environment is high-temperature, loud, and requires constant safety awareness (PPE usage).
