Job Description:

• System design and development: Create and implement plans for power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. This includes using CAD software to develop schematics and technical drawings.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting: Monitor and maintain the operational status of electrical equipment and systems, including diagnosing and resolving faults and performing routine inspections.
• Performance analysis: Conduct load flow analysis and other studies to evaluate system performance and determine where upgrades or repairs are needed.
• Compliance and safety: Ensure all work and systems comply with safety standards and government regulations.
• Project management: Manage projects from planning to completion, including developing project plans, managing budgets, and overseeing technicians and contractors.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, documentation, and updates for system changes and maintenance procedures.
• Integration: Work on integrating new technologies, such as renewable energy sources, into the existing grid. 

• Technical Skills: A strong understanding of electrical principles, power systems, and related software (like CAD) is essential.
• Problem-solving: The ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions is crucial for troubleshooting and system improvements.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for collaborating with diverse teams, preparing reports, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Project Management: Experience in managing timelines, budgets, and resources is often required, particularly for senior roles.
• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional certifications may also be preferred.
