Job Description:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role includes working with wiring, control panels, lighting systems, and industrial electrical machinery. The Electrician must ensure compliance with safety standards and perform troubleshooting as required.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and repair or replace faulty wiring and components

• Assemble and install control panels, DBs, MCBs, and distribution systems

• Test electrical systems for continuity and safety using testing instruments

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings

• Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes

• Monitor and manage power supply, lighting, and backup systems (generators, UPS)

• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work

• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians for project completion

🎓 Qualification & Experience:

• 10th / 12th Pass

• ITI in Electrician Trade (NCVT / SCVT certified)

🧠 Key Skills:

• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems

• Hands-on experience in industrial wiring and machine connections

• Ability to handle electrical tools and instruments

• Understanding of electrical safety standards

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good physical fitness and attention to detail
