Job Description:
A Brokk machine operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a remote-controlled Brokk demolition machine to perform various demolition tasks. This role involves operating the machine, performing maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating the Brokk machine:Utilizing remote controls to maneuver the machine and perform tasks such as breaking, digging, drilling, and scaling.

Demolition work:Removing concrete, masonry, and other materials in various settings, including confined and sensitive areas.

Maintenance and upkeep:Conducting pre-operation checks, routine maintenance, and ensuring the machine functions accurately and efficiently.

Safety:Monitoring the machine during operation, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Communication:Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and hazard awareness.

Following instructions:Reading and interpreting demolition plans and blueprints, and following supervisor directions.

Job site cleanliness:Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Additional tasks may include:
- Setting up and adjusting the machinery.
- Performing tasks such as breaking, digging, and drilling.
- Maintaining kilns, crushers, and other equipment.
- Working in mines and other industrial settings.

- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Brokk machines and other demolition equipment.
- Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
