ELECTRICAL HOD(SMS) - BELPAN , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Electrical HOD to lead the entire electrical department and oversee plant power systems, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and team performance. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of HT/LT systems, process plant electrical operations, and statutory regulations.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all electrical maintenance activities across the plant

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchyards, VFDs, motors, and panels

• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and load management for all critical equipment

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, IE rules, and CEA regulations

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and machinery

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated breakdowns and implement CAPA

• Coordinate with other departments for project execution, shutdowns, and modifications

• Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews

• Handle statutory inspections and liaison with DISCOM, Electrical Inspectorate, and other agencies

• Lead and train a team of engineers, supervisors, and electricians

🎓 Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.Tech preferred but not mandatory)

🛠️ Key Skills:

• Expertise in 33kV/11kV systems, SCADA, PLC, MCC/PCC panels

• Electrical troubleshooting & energy management

• Strong leadership and team management

• Working knowledge of SAP/CMMS, AutoCAD Electrical

• Thorough understanding of statutory and safety regulations
