D.M. PLANT/LAB INCHARGE - RAIPUR

• Plant Operation & Maintenance:

  • Operating and maintaining the DM plant equipment, including ion exchange columns, pumps, filters, and control systems.
  • Monitoring plant performance and making adjustments to optimize efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Laboratory Management:

  • Analyzing water samples to monitor water quality parameters (e.g., pH, conductivity, silica, etc.).
  • Preparing standard solutions and reagents.
  • Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
  • Managing laboratory inventory.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing.
• Supervision & Training:

  • Supervising plant operators and laboratory technicians.
  • Training plant personnel on operational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Developing and updating standard operating procedures.
• Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintaining accurate records of plant operations and laboratory data.
  • Preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  • Responding to customer complaints and conducting sample analysis as needed. 
     

• Educational background: A degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is often required, or a diploma with relevant experience. 
   
• Experience: Several years of experience in the operation and maintenance of DM plants, preferably in a chemical or process industry setting. 
   
• Technical skills: Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, ion exchange technology, and laboratory procedures. 
   
• Management skills: Experience in supervising and training staff, as well as in managing inventory and preparing reports. 
   
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational and quality-related issues.
