ENGINEER WORKSHOP HEMM (COAL MINING) - RAMGARH

• Maintenance Management:

  Planning, scheduling, and overseeing the maintenance of HEMM equipment, including hydraulic excavators, dozers, trucks, graders, loaders, and other support equipment. 

   
• Preventive Maintenance:

  Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. 

   
• Troubleshooting and Repair:

  Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with HEMM equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical expertise. 

   
• Workshop Management:

  Supervising workshop staff, managing resources, and ensuring efficient workflow within the workshop. 

   
• Documentation and Reporting:

  Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. 

   
• Cost Control:

  Monitoring and controlling workshop expenses, including material costs and labor hours. 

   
• Safety Compliance:

  Ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company and regulatory safety standards. 

   
• Optimization:

  Identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reduce operating costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency. 

   
• Failure Analysis:

  Investigating the root causes of equipment failures to prevent future occurrences and improve reliability. 

   

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
   
• Experience: Proven experience in HEMM maintenance, preferably in a mining environment. 
   
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of HEMM equipment, including hydraulic systems, engines, electrical systems, and transmissions. 
   
• Management Skills: Ability to supervise workshop staff, manage resources, and prioritize tasks effectively. 
   
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. 
   
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders. 
   
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to mining equipment maintenance.
