Job Description:
An Electrical Shift Incharge for a Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant with a 100TPD capacity is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of electrical systems during their shift. They oversee maintenance, coordinate with technicians, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards. This role typically involves experience with DRI/sponge iron processes, electrical maintenance of kilns, PLCs, and related systems.

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination:Oversee daily operations of electrical systems during the shift, including coordinating with electrical technicians.

Maintenance and Inspection:Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment, including PCC, MCC, VFD, and APFC panels.

Troubleshooting and Response:Respond promptly to electrical malfunctions and emergencies, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Reporting and Documentation:Maintain detailed logs and reports of shift activities and issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
