Job Description:

Manage all civil portions of projects to be performed. Manage all manpower needs. Monitor and manage job costs as well as maintaining project schedules. Construct schedules for all projects.

 

  1. Project Planning & Scheduling:

    • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

    • Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

    • Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards, codes, and regulations.

  2. Team Leadership & Management:

    • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring all members are motivated, informed, and aligned with the project’s goals.

    • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and engineers.

    • Conduct regular team meetings and progress reviews to address any issues and keep the project on track.

  3. Budget & Cost Control:

    • Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure the project remains within the approved financial scope.

    • Review and approve invoices from contractors, suppliers, and other third parties.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for more efficient project execution.

  4. Quality Assurance:

    • Monitor and maintain quality standards for all aspects of construction work.

    • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and quality requirements.

    • Perform regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with specifications.

  5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving:

    • Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Resolve conflicts or issues that arise on the job site, including disputes with contractors or vendors.

    • Address technical challenges, delays, and unforeseen conditions as they arise during the project lifecycle.

  6. Communication & Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

    • Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

    • Ensure clear and consistent communication between all parties involved, resolving any misunderstandings or delays.

  7. Health & Safety Compliance:

    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA (or local) regulations on construction sites.

    • Conduct regular safety inspections and report any safety hazards or violations.

    • Promote a culture of safety among team members and contractors
