INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Install, calibrate, and maintain process control instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters).

Perform loop checking and signal testing for commissioning and shutdown activities.

Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems.

Read and interpret P&ID, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance schedules.

Work with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems for automation control.

Ensure all instrumentation complies with safety and operational standards.

Maintain detailed records of instrument performance, calibrations, and repairs.

Assist in the startup, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.

Follow safety protocols and ensure work is done in compliance with HSE standards.
